Dallas Drum was founded in the summer of 2011 by Jon Zoog, a lifelong drummer and craftsman based in Sachse, Texas, just outside of Dallas. What started as a small garage project, repairing and restoring drums between gigs, quickly evolved into something much bigger.

As word spread about Jon’s unmatched craftsmanship and ear for tone, drummers across Texas began seeking him out for custom snare builds and full restorations. One satisfied customer led to another, and before long, Dallas Drum had become a trusted name among players around the world who demand instruments built with soul, not cheap shortcuts.

Today, Dallas Drum is dedicated to handcrafted custom drums, restorations, and precision repair, each project reflecting the same care, passion, and musicality that inspired Jon to start this journey.
